The debug option activates the debug mode of the AFP. This mode is not limited to the engine; the server and all other threads can also be tested this way. In the debug mode, the debugger is available via ALT+F5, provided AFP3.8.EXE was started in the development environment. You can terminate the AFP any time with SHIFT+F5. Additionally, the engine utilizes this option to determine the named pipe. The debug mode always activates the logging of system and error messages.
