Returns the hardware key.

Syntax

cKey = Server.GetHardwareKey()

Return value

The hardware key is a 16-digit character string composed of numbers and the letters A through F. This character string is created by an algorithm based on certain system attributes and license information. A second AFP license on the same machine will have a different hardware key, as will the same AFP license created on a different machine. Modifying the system or a renewed installation of the operating system may also change the hardware key. In this case you need to re-activate your AFP license. You can re-activate your license any number of times.
