Returns the name to which the copy of AFP was licensed.

Syntax

cName = Server.GetRegisteredName()

Return value

The name, to which the copy of AFP was licensed, as a character string or a blank string. When you purchase an AFP license, the name is stored in the file AFP3.LIC and will be read whenever the AFP is launched. The name may also be deposited in afp.config to provide for name changes or the disposal of the license. This name has then priority. Since the name has to be entered during activation, any name change requires a new activation. You may re-activate AFP any number of times.
